This week you will understand the idea of anthropomorphism (bringing inanimate objects to life).

At the end of the lessons you will write a narrative short story with an emphasis on planning and the development of a character that experiences change over time.

Teachers might claim that this week of lessons focuses on the recursive (repeating) writing process contributes to the creative and unique literary genres for a variety of audiences and purposes.

Basically that means "practice makes better."  We write more so that our writing is better!
