<td style="padding-left: 60px;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">This summer I read a creepy zombie action novel called <span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Fallen</span> by Charlie Higson.  <span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Fallen</span> is the fifth book in a series that follows groups of kids in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.   In this story, the kids want to find out more about the disease (and possibly try to "cure" the infected).  But, the expedition they send out struggles against the grown-ups (the infected) and the kids who stay behind in the museum are attacked by one of their own.  So, the expedition returns and the kids realize they have to make their "home" safe before they go on any more save-the-world missions.  <span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Fallen</span> is an exciting story with just the right amount of hope, tragedy, excitement, and gore.</span></td>
