Marcel the Shell with Shoes On is a stop-motion animated film in which Marcel, an anthropomorphic shell, is interviewed.  The film is done in a faux documentary style.  Writer/director Dean Fleischer-Camp and writer/actress Jenny Slate draw the viewer into the story of Marcel by utilizing camera angles at a small snail's level and by using a voice for Marcel that is different from a "normal" human voice.
