Polar curves are graphs that form spiral patterns
Have you ever walked a labyrinth? These spirals can be created in stone or sometimes even with hedges of hemlock. They say if you ask a meditative question and then walk the labyrinth, a solution will come to you by the time that you complete it. Well, here is a math question. How would you graph a spiral pattern? Do you have any idea how you would graph from that fixed center point out to the edge? Think about this question. Need a hint? You will need to use something called a "polar curve".
