What is HealthCorps?

A National non-profit organization devoted to sharing invaluable discoveries learned through over 13 years of work and research in many of America’s most challenging high schools.

What's Its Mission?

Teaching teens how to be happy, healthy and resilience.

Youth Education in three key areas that affect performance and quality of life:

How Does it Reach Students?

Our Living Labs and HealthCorps University programs deliver our curriculum to districts, schools and organizations across the country.

Living Labs

Embeds a trained HealthCorps Coordinator in a high school, full-time for five days a week during the school year. Coordinators serve as peer mentors for a minimum of two years and lead activities that give teens:

Practical skills to make their lives and the lives of their families healthier
Purpose,
Workforce development in medicine, health, fitness, and culinary arts careers.

The Living Labs program operates in a school for a maximum of four years.

HealthCorps University

A professional development training that empowers educators, administrators, and community members to bring the HealthCorps’ curriculum to schools, summer camps, community centers, and organizations.
