Capitalize your M.I.N.T.S.

    And, here's one more sweet way to remember some rules for capitalization.  Capitalize your M.I.N.T.S.

    M.I.N.T.S. is an acronym* that might help you.

    If you capitalize these, you might have better breath than your neighbor who is constantly eating garlic to keep vampires away.

     

    acronym*- A word formed from the initial letters of the words within a phrase.

    Here are some examples:

    NATO, from North Atlantic Treaty Organization

    SCUBA - Self-contained underwater breathing apparatus.

     

    Or, an acronym can be formed by combining initial letters of a series of words.

    For example:

    radar, stands for radio detection and ranging).
