I have a book in my classroom called The Meanest Doll in the World.  It is the sequel to The Doll People.  It is a great mix of regular text and pencil illustrations.  One amazing thing the authors do is to have the "mean doll" actually write in the book.  On the opening pages there is some scribbling that I originally thought a kid ruined my book.  But it was the doll in the story doing it!!!!

On the next page I cut and pasted from a review of the book (because the review gave out way too much of the story).  Check it out.  This book is definitely written on many different levels, from cover to cover.

Meanest Doll is shared under a not declared license and was authored, remixed, and/or curated by LibreTexts.
