Revision is sometimes the most difficult step in the writing process for students to understand. It is not looking for missing capitals, spelling mistakes, and messed up punctuation. Revision is changing your writing so that it sounds better, is more descriptive, and improving the content (what you "say"). This step comes before editing. Editing is one of the final stages before publication. It's correcting capitals, punctuation, spelling, and grammar. |
