Remember, Satire is the use of humor, irony, and exaggeration.  It's not just "writing a crazy story."

Good satire could almost be real.  Almost.  But when you think about it, you realize that there's no way that's real!  There are many magazines and websites that use satire to sell their product.  Some of the funniest parts of TV shows are the satirical moments when the viewer get sucked into believing.

Today you will read see and read more examples of satire.  Then, like yesterday, you get to create another one.  Pay attention to the parts of what you see today that set you up for something real.  Satire is clever before it becomes silly.
