The curriculum is akin to a journey on which students adopt healthier lifestyles by utilizing simple skills and tools that inform better choices. In HealthCorps schools, the curriculum begins with a simple survey (called the Healthy Me Snapshot) designed to identify current behaviors and measure them against the USDA Dietary Guidelines. The Snapshot then informs student’s creation of SMART Goals to serve as touchstones for the rest of their journey towards wellness.
